St Hans Celebration from Binnaben
It was the longest day. In Grimstad, people celebrates this longest day further in the evening, around 10 o'clock. They made fire, but only in limited places, since the weather was so dry--it might trigger fire. These pictures were taken around 23:00 in the evening. Sun did not yet set, but the light had been so calm. I climbed Binnaben at 22:30 alone to meet a photography lover, and a good friend of mine. We watched these amazing events for around 1,5 hours. I think, she had been there longer than me.
Celebrating The Longest Day
People in Norway call the celebration of the longest day as St. Hans. It is celebrated on June 23, 2010. The actual longest day is actually June 22. In Grimstad, the midsummer is celebrated by held a competition of boat decoration.

Water Traffic?
This picture was taken when I walked in Arendal in the weekend afternoon, 10 degree celcius, sunny. So, Norway is getting warmer. I believe that people cannot resist to go for boat trip, after most of harbour frozen in the long winter. Since more people go with their boats, I noticed many have to wait each other on the water, like the one I captured in this picture. Water Traffic?
